Full itinerary of the 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park

Arrival day

Today you are highly welcomed by your from Umarella voyage Safaris’ Experienced guide. He is ready to pick you immediately after your arrival Entebbe airport.  You can be picked from any of the Uganda’s border posts in Busia, Malamba, Mutukula and Katuna, Elegu. Get dropped off to agreed accommodation on your first day for relaxation , diner and overnight. Get ready for your 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 1: PICK UP FROM YOUR PLACE OF ACCOMODATION AND TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NP (5-6HRS)

Pick up from your hotel at 6.30am after breakfast and followed by a drive to Murchison Falls National park. The drive makes you pass through beautiful woodlands and Savannah grasslands. Ending straight to the park and then to the accommodation facility of your choice.  After reaching the accommodation, finally relax and have your lunch then take the rest of the day at leisure

In the evening you have the option of going for the game drive or relax and enjoy the hotel facilities

Dinner and overnight : fort Murchison safari lodge

Wake up early with a snack and set off on a Sunrise game drive (about 6.30am) in the Nyamsika plateau. While on the game drives, get to meet with different amazing wildlife. These include cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kobs, hartebeest and water buck. You may also spot Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reed buck, Shy Sitatunga, bush duiker, warthog, and bush pig. Furthermore expect to also meet carnivores including lions, leopards, and spotted hyena.
Chimpanzee and olive baboons head the list of six primates’ found in the park. And crocodiles and then hippos are seen along banks of the Nile. Some of the more common birds that can see include goliath heron, Egyptian geese, bee -eaters, kingfishers, saddle billed stork, cormorant, hornbill, and the rare shoe bile stork
After the game drive,  return to the lodge for lunch and there after get to relax. Again proceed for the boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls.  On your way see hippos, crocodiles, water bucks and wide variety of birds like unusual shoe bile stork.
The boat stops just ten metres from the “Devil’s cauldron”. Besides that, disembark and take a hike to the top of the falls where your vehicle awaits for you for pick up. This is an awesome experience, as you experience the majestic Murchison falls forming into impressive rainbow. Lastly Get to take opportunity for pictures. And then return to your accommodation facility for dinner and overnight stay

Wake up with relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge as you meet your guide. Drive to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for tracking of rhinos. Depending on the chosen activity,drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route to either Ziwa or any place chosen for lunch reaching Kampala by evening

Get transferred to selected accommodation facility in either Kampala or Entebbe
